Converted barn was spacious, perfect for entertaining the little rascals with a fun game room. Oh, and the low doors and ceilings were an unexpected bonus, made me feel like a giant!
Just loved driving around aimlessly due to roadblocks, but at least the owner kindly informed me of which roads were closed. Very considerate of them.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Riverside Barn in Gilwern. The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming, with a cozy and rustic atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas, such as the lounge and dining area, were tastefully furnished and provided a comfortable space for relaxation and socializing.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to consider the height of the shower and doorposts. As a taller individual at 1.87 meters, I had to bend down to fit under the shower and encountered some doorframes where I had to watch my head.
